Artwork – Super Karma

COVER OF BOOK (both front and back, spread out without text)

The rainbow is sol’s spectrum (our own sun, “sol”), tilted sideways and doubled and spread out – this spectrum was taken like a photograph at a single moment from a single day, possibly during a hot July afternoon and possibly from a spectrum-photographing instrument located (maybe?) in the mythical territory of SoCal – the birds are there to raucously harass and annoy, as is their wont in the novel Super Karma and as is their wont generally (being the proud and flourishing survivors of the clade Dinosauria, surviving on into this, the era of Mammalia, making sure we human mammals remember that all things have to come to an end, but you may as well enjoy yourself before the end overtakes you and whatever you do, do it authentically and raucously and be a credit to your clade).

FRONTISPIECE

What happens when an insanely self-righteous sparrow dive bombs an already cracked window and realizes too late that revenge is sometimes not as sweet as it may have been advertised.
